Sales induction course
To start your Mainfreight sales career properly, knowledge about who we are and the supply chain is essential. The sales induction course is a two day course that is especially created for our new sales team members. Mainfreight is a full supply chain provider thus, we want our team members to know what they sell. We will learn you everything about our global network and after the course, you can answer our “why” question.
Once a year we organize a sales conference (for two days). All sales team members come together at an exciting location in Europe (last year was SS Rotterdam, the year before De Efteling). At the sales conference, we stimulate a strategic level of thinking; what’s happening at this moment and where are we heading to with our business? The goal is to gain new energy in order to generate more sales for the upcoming year. The general mangers will give insightful presentations. Team leaders will give inspiring workshops. Motivational speakers will share their stories. We award our team members with prestigious sales awards. Celebrate successes – as we say at Mainfreight. Of course there is also time for teambuilding activities and fun!
Big M meetings
Once in the two months, we organize “Big M” meetings for our sales teams across all of our divisions (Transport, Warehousing, Air & Ocean) in Europe. The objective is to get our teams working closer together to create a regional sales culture, promote joint calls and bring live opportunities to the table. All European sales team members are invited for the meeting. We rotate the location (throughout Europe) to make sure that all branches get involved.
Together we identify supply chain and cross-sell opportunities. Moreover, we help our teammates if they need any assistance with e.g. their pipeline. We share the latest industry and region updates to ensure that your supply chain knowledge is always up to date!
