Big M Meeting

Once in the two months, we organize Big M meetings for our sales teams. These meetings involve regional / country sales teams across all of our divisions (Transport, Warehousing, Air & Ocean) in Europe. The objective is to get our teams working closer together to create a regional sales culture, promote joint calls, supply chain selling and bring live opportunities to the table. All European sales team members are invited for the meeting. We rotate the location (throughout Europe) to make sure that all branches get involved.

You’ll learn a lot from these meetings as we identify supply chain opportunities and cross-sell opportunities . Moreover, we help our teammates if they need any assistance with e.g. their pipeline. We share the latest industry and region updates to ensure that your supply chain knowledge is always up to date!

Sales conference

Once a year we organize a sales conference. Sales team members from all three divisions come together at an exciting location in Europe (former examples? Efteling? Boot in Rotterdam? ). Here we stimulate a strategic level of thinking; what’s happening and where are we heading to with our business? The goal is to gain new energy in order to generate more sales for the upcoming year. Besides that, we want to create a connection between our teams. The conference will last for two days and we will make sure that you will get everything you need.

We want to upskill our team members! Make sure that they will be the best version of themselves. The three general mangers from our divisions will give insightful presentations. Team leaders will give inspiring workshops. We also welcome guest speakers to share their motivational story. Of course, there is also time for teambuilding activities and fun. At the sales conference, we award our team members with prestigious sales awards. Celebrate successes! – as we say at Mainfreight.

Sales induction course

The sales induction is a two day course that is especially created for our new sales team members. Mainfreight is a full supply chain provider thus, we want our team members to know what they sell. The induction is all about your sales career at Mainfreight. We will learn you everything about our global network. The sales induction is mainly about setting and explaining expectations. After the course you can answer the “why” question and you've learned the Mainfreight sales techniques.
